I have just purchased my gypsy and spent $60 on a 2hours lesson and walked away confused, you are great I have learned how to weld & Layer in less than 40 mins from you, you are really good ,precise to the point and a lovely speaking voice, keep up the good work and let me know what else I can do wihth my gypsy & expression cricut. you should teach & charge for lessons. I am not good at this, 1st time....I have not got a gyspy yet, I just want to know, DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE CARTRIDGE in your circut to CUT, or does it cut from the one's that are downloaded on the Gyspy

Think of the Gypsy as an external hard drive. You sync each cartridge to the Gypsy and save a copy of it to teh Gypsy itself. When it is time to cut, you simply plug the Gypsy into the Cricut and go...no cart required. You may however, only cut from carts you have synced to the Gypsy, so you must own a cart to cut with it, like the Design Studio Software.

That is great, I have one other question to ask of you, once you download your cart's and you are at a friends house you can not use it with there cricut, like it can only be use with your own cricut, is this true?
