Im buying one tomorrow and it came between these, the Razer Carchaias and the Plantronics 777 (which ive used before)

the Steel series looks the best out of those three. Thanks for the review! Ill let you know what i think when i get them tomorrow.

The bass from the Steelseries 5H V2 USB driver isnt brilliant .But if you are really worried about not having enough bass then plug it analog into onboard audio.

The headset however is completely solid (well built) .really comfortable and made for the largest of heads.ive had many logitech,Creative headsets but none of them compared to the Steelseries 5H V2 Gaming Headset.

I ordered the headset from a shop called verkkokauppa (finnish store) and I did choose 5hv2 USB and I got same package as you but only shit is that ffs I only got the headset usb card and the wires... I DIDNT GET ANY SOUNDCARD WITH IT :( Why not?? and Is there any download for it then? Cuz the soundcard would probably do it much better... :( And should I tell the shop I didnt get it? please linus or w/e ur name is help me or someone else...

You don't wanna buy these "gaming" headsets that will give you the best possible "bullet sound" crap thingies. Buy real headphones not something that is called gaming in front of it... You don't want metallic sound quality when you listen to music.. And the difference in gaming is so minimal from "normal" headphones to these.. crap headphones that you want even notice.

I do own one of these myself and I would NOT recommend these to anyone, not even gamers. Probably nothing special with this 1

Another good informative video. I've noticed in a lot of your videos, your camera has a hard time focusing when its looking at something close up. Can you not adjust the focus on the fly or turn on a macro setting during taping?

Unfortunately my camera is not even a video camera. It can focus up close in good light, but not indoors.

It's hard to compare to the 350s because I don't like the 350s. I think they sound tinny and "small". I'm the only person I know who doesn't like the 350s though, so my opinion of them is kinda the outlier in the data.

I'd take these over the 350s personally. For one they come with a USB sound card which works great, for two they are really comfy, and for three they are lower impedance.

yea you're right, the PC 350 doesn't have the bass. The details are good but i think ppl will need to have a good amp to be able to make good use of the PC350 headset. I bought the pc350 twice and sold them both on ebay. Never going back to it again.
