Brief Tour of Alameda High 2007

For those 2 young to remember.

A entire block of houses once sat where AHS currently sits.

Porter School sat once where the open field is.

It burned down in 1973 either by design or accident, no one knows.

Somebody in authority went nuts and decided the houses should all be demolished and a new AHS should be built where they proudly once stood.

Only one house survives today.

It was moved to the West end of Alameda, on the same street where Taco Bell is.
