There is something missing in everyones new work.

It was a perfect blend and they complimented each other in SOAD.

Daron has a great voice but I don't like him as a lead singer.

With John's and Schavo's intensity, it allowed Serj and Daron to do anything they wanted to.

Take anyone one of them out of the picture and whatever they worked for is utterly ruined.

A big failure. I do like Empty walls by Serj and Deuces by Achozen tho. This song isn't too bad either.

Daron got to much credit even if he deservered most of the credit for writing the songs.

This song makes me believe the others played a bigger part than previously stated cuz compared to SOAD and even some of Serj's new stuff it pales in comparison. The beginning sounds extremely lame and its the same riff over and over again then some weird i suppose guitar solo throughout the verse. His voice isn't even why I don't like it. I don't like it because of the guitar completely.

Music is very good- as ever, but Daron's voice is not a patch on Serj's- It's actually quite annoying most of the time, I think... I keep waiting for the 'real' singer to join in!

Also, he seems to have a very juvenile attitude and I think this shows in his writing and spoils it a bit...

i think its difficult to compare the 2 sounds cuz they are so different. id like to try and rate on or the other, but its like saying whether an orange or an apple is better, their both good, but in different ways. really, if i had a gun to my head, id say system was better. old system, the new system was alrite, but a little too... refined. the good thing about old system was its audacity and uncleanliness. loved it

Singer of a band is naturally going to be more known and popular compared to the rest. Daron's band sounds more like system than does Serj Tankian's album. Don't discredit the rest of the band as nobodies. Daron's doing a wonderful job with his side project.

non c'est clair que son but n'est pas de copier system, mais pourtant on reconnait bien la patte quand méme, idem pour l'album solo de serj tankian,alors que son but n'était pas de copier system non plus. ce n'est d'ailleurs pas forcement un atout. Cette similitude, méme si elle n'est pas voulue va faire que l'image de soad va leur coller à la peau un bout de temps je pense avant qu'ils ne trouvent leur propre identité musicale.
