Actualy from WoW , WAR and AoC I think WAR is the most succsessful... I have played the three and I'm a hardcore PvPer.WoW is a briliant game.You have the cool fairytale like graph and PvE but the hardcore PvP comes very late...WAR is the new PvP benchmark in games... There are some many ways to lvl-up and you will never get bored,trust .But in order to lvl -up the fastes you will need to be a good pvper...This is the First game I play where the PvP is the main and funnest way to LvL UP :)

Aoc is all and i'll tell u why AoC has better graphics than both games. It has better quests, and since WoW is just making everything to easy, AoC has a better Lore than any of those 2 games, Funcom had the balls to fix their bugs, and their still working hard 24/7 to fix the bugs, and i play it, and since the beta was terrible, i decied just to try the game now, and i must say im impressed.
Also a good tip, for Assassins and other classes, find yourself a nice xBow, and put it in your 2nd weapon preset slot. You'll come acros a lot of runners as Assassin, so when they run with hardly any health left, hit Shift + R and you can get that final shot off before they escape.
Lol, WoW is already failing, Wotlk will help, and add some new stuff, but not save it. WoW graphics will never match that of AoC, and even if they do, it won't matter. AoC has much more to offer than good graphics, and it's apparent, and it's going to hurt WoW. WoW is simple and easy , that is why it's the MOMENTARY king of the hill. By the way, you make hardly any sense, please use pncuation.

Everyone is the same level there, It's the PvP Beta. And the reason he is killing people in so few shots is because there was a bug back then where assassins could stack a certain ability which made them able to kill other people in one or two shots.

I am getting a bit worried over the complexity of the game. Sure it's great that you've got different kinds of levels, hundreds of different combat styles, spells, abilities, mounts, feats to ''explore'' but mastering them, to such a level that you can actualy play the game and know exactly what you'r doing is gonna take alot and I seriusly mean alot of time.
assassins have the best single target dps in the game. once you start playing against non noobs you're gonna be the 1st one targeted by everyone else.
Yep, but they also wear only cloth and silk so they are very fragile. You better be stabbing fast if you want to stay alive :) Pretty interresting class. Watch out mages and priests :D
too bad this isn't how the game pvp really is for Sin's can't take on 3 or 2 like that. I been in beta for a while, and they armor and ect u got ain't even realistic to how its going to be in release. but not bad :)

Race? ya racist bastard! lol. actually they're all equal, there is no technical difference between the "race" you choose, although to match lore, some races can't choose certain classes... such as, a stygian can't be a Priest of Mitra... as they don't worship Mitra :P same as the Cimmerians won't do anything related to Dark Magic. But the races have no impact on your class choice. AoC is meant to be more your choices rathed than the choices given to you... other than for lore purposes :)
pvp looks good in this game .. the guild vs guild is what mmo's are about.. and the only game that came close was Dark age Of Camelot.. best pvp game with three realms all trying to capture a centre keep with seige.. the minigames will be fine to load up some pvp skill but thats where wow lacks.. no keep raiding ..
it's even more realistic now, other than strafing while moving forward... that animation is rather complicated, lol. But I like how your head moves with the camera and you don't "slide to turn around" your head moves in the direction, even up and down, then your body moves once you've stretched your head to the shoulders.
theres no prize for month payment yet i think it will be store buyable then month payments cause this game is the best game of year 2008 :D well thats my opinion everybody has different taste on games :)

cant really judge the game from that pvp weekend...you only played a level 20 from what i hear..and it goes up to 80. So your barely seeing anything of what it will really be like.
The PVP is a little unique. Same old click a skill square type game, except with combo's that require you to hit your arrows in a certain order. Default arrows are the 1, 2 and 3 keys. They will have spell weaving for mages soon which is supposed to allow combo's for them as well.
No class in the entire game is overpowered. The only two classes that seem overpowerd at 20 is Tempest of Set and Bear shaman, but you have to remember this is lvl 20 not 80 keep that in mind.
Asassins seem a bit overpowered, but that necro was still able to have his pets kill him while running. Necros do need some kind of root imo, or else everyone is just gonna go after them for easy kills.
Good video! But assasians are overpowered to my taste, they hit TOO MUCH, they wear light armour or so,, and they can go stealth, i hope they fix it.. else its boring..
This is how the assasin should be, a killing machine, casters are already overpowered they win against tanks 100% of the time easily thanks to their roots
Sins are op against casters at 20. as a demo or a necro there really isnt anything you can do when a sin comes out of stealth on you. Against otherr classes they're pretty balanced. That being said the game is a totally different story at 70.
No they shouldn't, every class should have a chance against every class, and it should always come down to skill. That is the definition of balance. Right now necros have no roots, so a sin can stealth up to them and there is really no way for a necro to win. Demos can root so they have a chance.
There's currently no MMO where player skill aside from knowhow and basic keyboard/mouse coordination has an impact on 1vs1 PvP, I'd even go as far and say all aspects of PvP. WoW Arena mostly just came down to setup, gear and timing aside from the knowhow required (which can't compare to that in EVE Online etc).
Meh, I think the one thing that set fury back was its lack of optimization. I could barely play it with this system yet i can run AOC fine even while frapsing.
Yah, it seems when you combine unreal engine + MMO game = failure. IF you could actually run it decent, it was really an awesome game during the Fury challenge as the population was great then.
meh, I prefer 40% rock, paper, scissors / 60% equality. I think classes should have slight advantage over other specific classes. This is possible without making it so class "A" always wins against class "B".
I played a demo a lot in the weekend and destroyed most assassin's. You just need to turn around and root em' then sprint back a bit and nuke. I hope they balance it out and turn it into a "skill" fight rather than a "first hit wins" battle.
I ran into a demo who was doing this so I started using hide and when he ran by i hit him from behind with my vicious strike combo and got a scond fast combo off before he could root me and get away.(since hitting from behind snares players). Once he was out of mellee range I used my crossbow to finish em off before he could kill me.

It isn't complex at all. Anyone with the slightest bit of sense can pick this game up.

I am getting a bit worried over the complexity of the game. Sure it's great that you've got different kinds of levels, hundreds of different combat styles, spells, abilities, mounts, feats to ''explore'' but mastering them, to such a level that you can actualy play the game and know exactly what you'r doing is gonna take alot and I seriusly mean alot of time.

assassins have the best single target dps in the game. once you start playing against non noobs you're gonna be the 1st one targeted by everyone else.

Yep, but they also wear only cloth and silk so they are very fragile. You better be stabbing fast if you want to stay alive :) Pretty interresting class. Watch out mages and priests :D

too bad this isn't how the game pvp really is for Sin's can't take on 3 or 2 like that. I been in beta for a while, and they armor and ect u got ain't even realistic to how its going to be in release. but not bad :)

Race? ya racist bastard! lol. actually they're all equal, there is no technical difference between the "race" you choose, although to match lore, some races can't choose certain classes... such as, a stygian can't be a Priest of Mitra... as they don't worship Mitra :P same as the Cimmerians won't do anything related to Dark Magic. But the races have no impact on your class choice. AoC is meant to be more your choices rathed than the choices given to you... other than for lore purposes :)

pvp looks good in this game .. the guild vs guild is what mmo's are about.. and the only game that came close was Dark age Of Camelot.. best pvp game with three realms all trying to capture a centre keep with seige.. the minigames will be fine to load up some pvp skill but thats where wow lacks.. no keep raiding ..

it's even more realistic now, other than strafing while moving forward... that animation is rather complicated, lol. But I like how your head moves with the camera and you don't "slide to turn around" your head moves in the direction, even up and down, then your body moves once you've stretched your head to the shoulders.

cant really judge the game from that pvp weekend...you only played a level 20 from what i hear..and it goes up to 80. So your barely seeing anything of what it will really be like.

The PVP is a little unique. Same old click a skill square type game, except with combo's that require you to hit your arrows in a certain order. Default arrows are the 1, 2 and 3 keys. They will have spell weaving for mages soon which is supposed to allow combo's for them as well.

No class in the entire game is overpowered. The only two classes that seem overpowerd at 20 is Tempest of Set and Bear shaman, but you have to remember this is lvl 20 not 80 keep that in mind.

Asassins seem a bit overpowered, but that necro was still able to have his pets kill him while running. Necros do need some kind of root imo, or else everyone is just gonna go after them for easy kills.

Good video! But assasians are overpowered to my taste, they hit TOO MUCH, they wear light armour or so,, and they can go stealth, i hope they fix it.. else its boring..

Sins are op against casters at 20. as a demo or a necro there really isnt anything you can do when a sin comes out of stealth on you. Against otherr classes they're pretty balanced. That being said the game is a totally different story at 70.

And theres nothing sins can do when they get stunlocked by a ToS or Demo, whats your point? Casters = weak armor, they SHOULD get destroyed by sins.

No they shouldn't, every class should have a chance against every class, and it should always come down to skill. That is the definition of balance. Right now necros have no roots, so a sin can stealth up to them and there is really no way for a necro to win. Demos can root so they have a chance.

There's currently no MMO where player skill aside from knowhow and basic keyboard/mouse coordination has an impact on 1vs1 PvP, I'd even go as far and say all aspects of PvP. WoW Arena mostly just came down to setup, gear and timing aside from the knowhow required (which can't compare to that in EVE Online etc).

Although it didn't do well, Fury had a system where it was pretty much all skill. If the population was better I would probably still be playing it.

Meh, I think the one thing that set fury back was its lack of optimization. I could barely play it with this system yet i can run AOC fine even while frapsing.

Yah, it seems when you combine unreal engine + MMO game = failure. IF you could actually run it decent, it was really an awesome game during the Fury challenge as the population was great then.

meh, I prefer 40% rock, paper, scissors / 60% equality. I think classes should have slight advantage over other specific classes. This is possible without making it so class "A" always wins against class "B".

I played a demo a lot in the weekend and destroyed most assassin's. You just need to turn around and root em' then sprint back a bit and nuke. I hope they balance it out and turn it into a "skill" fight rather than a "first hit wins" battle.

I ran into a demo who was doing this so I started using hide and when he ran by i hit him from behind with my vicious strike combo and got a scond fast combo off before he could root me and get away.(since hitting from behind snares players). Once he was out of mellee range I used my crossbow to finish em off before he could kill me.
