@JessSweetzz I think I worded it badly, but I meant things would be so much better if they didn't HAVE to hide their love in the first place, it was just an idealistic statement. They always had a chance to run off somewhere remote and set up a ranch there, but then Ennis got married, had children and that chance became slim- cause' there was no way he was going away from his children. Just so, so many complexities and bridges to cross just in the way of their relationship, it makes me so sad :(

I felt a twinge of excitement when they embraced...and then kissed. Can you believe how much love exists in that moment? And who are some people to judge their love because of choice. Its obvious. It isnt a choice, they can't help loving eachother. Ennis would not be with him if it was CHOICE. So heartbreaking, so beautiful. I love it. I just fucking love it.

I adore this movie. There's so much emotion and depth in all the characters, especially Jack and Ennis. I love the scene when they see each other again after 4 years of silence. You can really see how much they missed each other, and how much love is still between them. Truly amazing acting.

@NikkiMikki789 Yes, I completly agree with everything you say. People just automatically think its just about gay cowboys theres more to it than that. Its an amazing film, I didn't think it would affect me so much but it made me freeze, especially the ending, brought some tears :(
