why why why....look at danny. just takin a pay check...the fat cunt...look at rick..i think jesus told him to forget how to play guitar..vinny is thinkin bout the paycheck, and great italian food..abeets, (pizza), monnygot, pickled eggplant, sausage and peppers, ect. ect... east coast food...and fuckwit on bass..forgot his name , cause he looks like he should be in a fuckin disco band...
@exsantacruzbassist moewius you are one thousand percent correct! i met rick in santa cruz in the 80's at a small gig with edgar winter. i was one of two bouncers for the sold-out show. for $2 they raffled a white jackson autographed guitar... one of my buddies chris mann won it!!! email me to agree or rebutt... mario xmrtallchorizox@aol.com
Derringer's music never gets old, his playing is flawless, his showmanship is unparalelled. He was an icon to me in the early 70's and remains so to this very day.
This is a man who firmly belongs in the the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. His contribution to Rock is more profound than most recognize. Ask Todd Rundgren, Johnny and Edgar Winter, Steely Dan, Alice Cooper, Hall and Oates, Ian Hunter and countless other stars who sought him out as a player, arranger, producer, and great friend.
In my opinion Rick Derringer is one of the most accomplished guitarists and 'all-around-musicians' - but extremely underrated. His rhythm work is absolutely outstanding and his soloing as well.. Listen to the tracks of Johnny Winter And Live Album from 1971: Rock'n Roll Medley and It's my own fault.
Although he belongs to the dinosaurs of Rock music from his early beginnings with the Mc Coys he has'nt got the credit he really deserved.
@timothycooper123 Haha! Y' know, i've seen this band rockin live and it was... holy shit. Can't even find words for that gig. Definitely one of my best 10 live gigs ever!
@zxdread Same here !! I saw Derringer open for Aerosmith at the first concert I saw at the Spectrum in Philly in August of 75, They were absolutly KICK ASS!!!!!!!
OMG! This is... a bang! I'm speachless! We need a whole full complete video DERRINGER recording! Where the hell comes this from?? To reunite this band was the best that Rick could do. Let's hope for another chapter from DERRINGER! Million thanx for this recording!
Those of you who were at this show are lucky bastards!

@stringbenderE2E How good I am or am not isn't the issue. Rick Derringer is a genius rock and roll guitarist who here performs a lame tune.
TheoBurke 8 months ago
@TheoBurke Well that's your opinion. I don't share it .. but I do agree his a a genius rock and roll guitarist.

@stringbenderE2E "That's your opinion". Obviously it's my opinion, and no one said you had to agree. Fuck, what a pointless exchange.

I can't believe one of your band mates made a bogas comment on one of our pages, I'm just the guitarist and I'll blow you whole band away by myself.
What an idiot of a person you are. I think the word "DICK" may be more appropriate.
