  • My little cousin just recorded with matt odmark the lead guitarst and background vocalist of jars of clay..1 week of work with him in the studio every day..check his music type in "my flesh heart"

  • @sway33755 HOW WAS THAT?! O:

  • Such a unique voice...I'm no longer a Christian, but I'm still totally inspired their craft.

  • @bernlin2000 What are you now? I am totally intrigued. I have only understanding for your answer.

  • @effmeelsetosay probably agnostic. it happens. this is still one of my favorite song of all time.

  • @bernlin2000 when i read your comment i thought of Acts 26

  • Probably my favorite song from JoC. I've been listening to them since the Flood album (still my favorite) came out back in.........1994 (I think). Don't listen to them as much now. I mostly listen to bands like August Burns Red, Demon Hunter, Kutless, etc.

  • Why Mexico doesnt have that music culture? :( All the American Christian bands are so amazing!!!!! :7 :D I love Jars Of Clay!!!!!

  • @ardiyiap 90s American Christian bands to be exact. FFH came to my church a few weeks ago. nothing like it used to be. The 90s were a magical time.

  • @robearberbils I know, those bands like, Newsboys.. hehehe yeah! I love those years! but, I think there are bands which still rocking up! ^^

  • @ardiyiap So do I also casting crowns, third day,dc talk mercy me and alot more!!!!!!

  • @wilsondominguito why are you a atheist

  • @srhoman3 why am I an atheist? really? lol I'm the one who's suppose to ask you that. Why DO you believe in your imaginary friend? :)

  • @wilsondominguito are you planning to live forever?

  • @srhoman3 18For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 19For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

  • Jesus 4ever. . .! Jesus L.O.V.E Us!

  • @MultiRushfan God can turn any bad situation and turn it good you just wait and see. For God is more good then the Sin is evil.

  • @MultiRushfan everything happens cause of us its our fault thats why christ is going to come save us all from sin in the second coming and ultimately judgement day. if you don't want that to happen then you sir a stupid fuck and a satanist.

  • @sjsunok Wtf are you serious?! You can't possibly accuse someone of being a satanist just because he doesn't believe in Jesus or God! -.-

  • @tweepixie Amen! hahah

  • There's nothing wrong with christian music being this good to listen too and even if it hit #1 on the Pop charts I don't think there would be any complaints in heaven.

  • Amén

  • jears of clay lo mejorrrr

  • (continued) creation, but he created them for mankind. Its the same reason he created mankind; to spread the word about him and to live our lives for him. If you had watched this song, you would understand that our lives are for God and we should fall in love with him. He is our creator, savior, and prince of prince of peace;we should live our lives for him. Anyone agree?

  • @cheftobe333 no i dont agree.. i think your a religious nutjob that should quietly end your life

  • To the people involved in the vegetarian debate: First of all, I would like to state that I'm not against vegetarians in any way because they are not doing any harm to this world, but I didn't exactly agree with @julieveggie either. When @julieveggie compared Jesus' eating meat to the clothes he wore as being out of context, that's like saying the bible is out of context because it was written 2000 years ago. And just for the record, the bible is NOT out of context. Also, yes, animals are God's

  • Lol why are talk talking about Jesus eating fish and all that.. can't yall ignore those people and just listen to the music?

  • after I lost a family member in a car crash, this was was my savior...i've had many a tears listening to this

  • I love how I heard these guys on the radio and my dad heard too and he said, "oh i remember those guys, i used to listen to them!"

  • One of the best songs ever

  • esta música me la dedico un amigo misionero, hace aaaaañossssssss, me llena de recuerdos volverla a escuchar!!!!!!!!

  • THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!! TWO THUMBS UP

  • i wish the radio was better here in warner robins they don't play christian rock music

  • very nice voice and message :)

  • @Semp3rLucky

The average person eats 5,000 animals over their lifetime, ever time I convince someone to adopt a plant-based diet or cut back on animal products, many animal lives are saved.

  • @julieveggie If eating animals is mistreating them, and mistreating them is disrespect toward God, then Jesus disrespected God, he ate animals.

  • @Califacience Luke 24:43 describes Jesus eating fish after the Resurrection. There are no other Biblical passages that have Jesus eating any other kinds of animals.

  • @julieveggie

I accidentally replied to my own comment instead of you, so my reply to you is below this one.

  • @Califacience

Actually if you know about Judaism, you understand that to say that Jesus celebrated the Passover (which the Bible states) is to say that he ate meat; namely lamb. To assume that he did anything else is to add to the Bible since the Bible specifically outlines what Passover is, and how it is celebrated.

But let's say that didn't happen. if Jesus insulted God even ONCE (with the fish) then he sinned, and is not sinless . There goes all of Christianity.

  • @Califacience

Thats like saying God I'm disrespecting you because I've decided that I'm going to have a hot dog for dinner. And if you are saying that disrespecting animals is disrespect toward God, then you might as well say that eating fruit, or putting greenhouse gases in the ozone layer by driving around in your car, or just putting something on the grass and let the grass die is disrespecting God... I think you're taking the scripture out of context.

  • slipknot and slayer disliked this video

  • @Semp3rLucky If you agree that God is against factory farming because of the cruelty that happens to his animals, so then you can conclude that God is against Christians eating animal products that comes from factory farms which is the majority of animal products. The way animals are treated today makes a mockery of God’s love for them. This is in comparison why I don't buy clothes that come from children sweatshops because I realize I would be supporting child abuse.

  • Its called the food chain. It saddens me how vegans and associates think eating our oxygen source is ok. Or do you not eat n e thing? Jesus took 5 fish if you remember and fed men. save it

  • oh to have a guy who is so in love with Jesus..

  • It SADDENS me that MOST Christians & Jays of Clay are CALLOUS towards the suffering of God's animals that are used for food, but treat their pets like spoiled children. Jesus would be appalled by the degree of suffering we inflict on God's animals to indulge our acquired taste for their flesh: View on my channel 'Farm to Fridge'

  • @julieveggie: Where are you coming from with that remark? If the Bible, chapter and verse - please share. The Bible I read doesn't give any indication that Jesus was a vegetarian. However I might have missed something. And what is the relevance of your comment to this song?

  • @PicoGigaMan Luke 24:43 describes Jesus eating fish after the Resurrection. However, Jesus’ diet 2,000 years ago in a Mediterranean fishing community does not mandate what Christians should eat today. Similarly, what Jesus wore does not dictate how we should dress today. We are blessed with a wide range of healthful, tasty, convenient plant foods, much like in Eden. Meanwhile, we believe that the way animals are treated today makes a mockery of God’s love for them.

  • @julieveggie: Please clarify "we". And are you implying that God's love of animals is greater than God's love for mankind? If so then who's salvation was Jesus sacrifice paying for? And please tell me from Genesis 1:26 who has dominion? Man or animals? And whose image were animals created? Luke 24:43 is not so much about Jesus' diet as it is about his physical post resurrection appearance. Please reference Luke 24:39. The way we treat God's Word is just as shameful... Wouldn't you agree?

  • @PicoGigaMan From a Christian perspective, all Creation belongs to God. Mistreating any part of Creation shows disrespect for God. The growing ecological crisis, increasing human poverty, and widespread animal abuse all relate to humans putting desires of the flesh before our obligations to serve God." --Steve Kaufman, the Christian Vegetarian Association.

  • "Eu quero me apaixonar por Você"

  • omg i was there :D

  • My heart explodes when I think of JoC. Their music is just so awesome, their lyrics just so blessed, I'm speechless. Of course it all started with Flood in 1995 - still one of the greatest songs of all time! From then I was hooked. I've bought all their albums along the way. They're the only band I've followed so closely.

  • man those pants look good on him.. he is a cutie.

  • wow.. awesome!

  • You are amazing Jesus, You help me move on to my future and its time for me to make The New Year resolutions

  • You are amazing Jesus, You help me move on to my future and its time to make The New Year resolutions

  • Any idea how much head they get behind stage?

  • I know it's wildly unpopular to say on this particular page, but this seems more like "jars of clay" worship than anything else. I grew up in a very conservative place and listened to this stuff a lot, willingly. But, as I look back now, the intentions of rock-band worship for profit just seems sketchy to me. Blessed are the ones who make money making worship songs in my name? Hmmm...

  • @ueberwachung Just to clarify for you overall they don't make a lot of money from this they arn't multimillionares they probably maybe earn about the average anyone does in a year. They have to pay for everything they use, they have to pay to record their music, and they have their own charity where a vast majority of their earnings that they don't have to spend on making more music to their Charity in Africa. In fact they like Rich Mullens ask for enough to live on

  • @TheRedemed Well, that's good to hear. I didn't have any evidence to prove they were cashing out for Jesus; just something that crossed my mind. If they are as responsible as you say, then all one has to debate is their theological message (which really isn't nefarious, if you ask me). Thanks for taking the time to address my concerns.

  • @ueberwachung As far as I have heard their theological message is sound but I mean I could be wrong its been a while since I have really payed much attention to them as a whole I prefered their older style better than their newer (except for Good Monsters). So overall I believe they are sound in their beliefs well I mean looking from the outside it really comes down to their actual belief but I think they have that. Just to clarify they ask their Agents for enough to live on the rest goes to w/e

  • @TheRedemed - TRUST ME Jars of Clay's message is sound! My whole family (Dad, Mom, me, my younger brother & younger sister) all went to the same college where Jars of Clay met & started as a band-Greenville College-The message at G.C. is STRONG, & TRUE to God's word none of the new age junk they had a few professors who were a little shaky in what they were teaching they said hit the bricks we aren't gonna let you teach our students that! Pretty solid, huh? I would say so!

  • @JarsCampDCT

You're a piece of garbage if you're going to assume that most Christians are fake. If someones a Christian, like me, they're at least trying to live good lives, and follow Christ. I'm sure God loves it when you judge all Christians like that. /sarcasm Shame on you.

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE This song!!!!!!

  • I WANT TO FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU

  • @gargz89 Ask for forgiveness. He is coming, and when he does it might be to late for you. Except him.

  • there is nothing mor manly than worshiping jesus and not being embarrased ;D

  • I remember listening to song like a couple hours after I accepted Jesus as my Savior. I started to cry so hard. Jesus had and still is changing my life 6 years later this November. I want to fall in love with Him all over again everyday. ^_^

  • It wont be long and those who have served him will fall into his arms forever, the LORD is coming back soon get READY!!!!!!!!

  • nice song

  • I love this song ^_^

  • Jars of Clay just gave an interview for our show, Soul Check TV. Please watch!

  • @peanutpie4eva..LOL..hahahaha

  • I'm an athiest and I have to be honist I'm not a big fan of the whole christian rock thing, actually I hate it, but I kinda like this song. I didn't even really know it was a religious until I looked at the comments.

  • @peanutpie4eva Don't be an atheist. At least be agnostic. Creation proves there is a creator. I'm a Christian and I admit that most "Christians" are fakes. Not so with Jars of Clay, they are sincere. Keep listening to their music. They point to the real God.

  • @JarsCampDCT I don't know that I would say that most Christians are fakes. I would say that all Christians are still sinners and we all fall every day. That is why Christ came to die for us. Many biblical characters were champions of the faith, but yet also guilty of the most horrible sin. King David was a liar, murderer and adulterer, yet GOd called him a man after God's own heart. We are al capable of any sin known to man and ye should not judge or assume one is above the sin of another.

  • @x001m69 I don't think that we should refer to David when judging Christians. He was not a Christian, because he did not know Christ. Different age. But,he did worship God,and that is why God called him that.Christians are called to lead a blameless life, and have power in Christ to do so.Socalled Christians who try to get away with gross sins under the the excuse that they will be forgiven, are not to be recognized as Christians.Yes,we all still sin.But we are not peole who plan and do evil acts.

  • @JarsCampDCT We shouldn't be judging Christians at all. David is from the OT and is an example to us all. I did not say he was a Christian so not sure why you implied that I called him one. We are called to judge actions as to whether they are biblical, but we are not called to judge another believer as to whether they are saved or fake. As a Christian, I would never say to an unbeliever that most Christians are fake. It is just poor judgement. David commited gross sin and was forgiven.

  • @x001m69 David is a bad example for us all.God gives us a good example of his forgiveness, and use of imperfect people.Judgement does begin at the house of the Lord.We are not to associate with people who call themselves Christian and commit gross, planned sins, as though they are Christians. That's NT. I don't go around judging people, keep my thoughts to myself mostly, and look on people with compassion. But, I am aware that the gate is narrow, and few find it. Christians mislead unbelievers.

  • @JarsCampDCT

True. We don't plan evil things. But remember Romans 7 and 8. We still do things that make us sick. If we hate our sin, recognize that we sin, and are in battle with it, it shows that we are regenerated in the Spirit.

The best thing to do is to look at each other with compassion. To love one another like we love ourselves. That means to treat others with that mercy, grace, and love that God demonstrated to the Church through our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • this song moves me for sure the one song that the spirit talks to me the most is skillet-rebirthing

  • Quiero enamorame de tí. Excelente Rola.

Saludos desde Méxicapan de las tunas

  • I haven't heard their music in so long! I miss it. Time to dig out that old CD.

  • this is the best version of this song! =)

  • Wow...the Holy Spirit always talks to me when I listen to Jars Of Clay.

    Simply breathtaking.

    K.

  • luv the song!!!!!!! and the band!!!

  • Jars of Clay Love Jesus, and HE is So Rad!! CLASS DISMISSED!!!!!

  • me encanta este tema....amarte Señor siempre.....

    Bendiciones Jars, quiero seguirte Señor......

  • Just out of curiousity, I really like these guys alot, but consider myself an agnostic. I appreciate their message, but am not sure if that is the path I am meant to follow. I really am drawn to the way they arrange their music. Am I welcomed by other fans even though I may not draw the same thing from their music?

    BTW excellent video dobh

  • @LDRNOVA, as a fan of JOC, i welcome you on behalf of other JOC fans. It is not for us to judge others as none of us is perfect. Just remember to keep an open mind when you listen to them to let the messages in their songs minister to you. You never know, as it is God who works in us, you might become convinced by them and follow the part that God wants you to. I recommend you listen to their latest album "long fall back to earth" which in my view is awesome. God bless

  • @LDRNOVA

Most definitely you are welcome, anyone who tells you otherwise is a pure hypocrite. It doesn't matter who you are or what you believe but you will be welcomed with open arms by any true understanding fan of jars of clay. I would say just have respect for what the fans believe, and from your post it looks like you do, that is possibly the most respectful disagreeing post I have ever seen, more Christians should be like you, :) isnt that funny

  • @LDRNOVA Yeah man! Listen to whatever you want! Its the whole point lol We all want you to listen to them. It's all good :D

  • omigosh! i love this song. so old but awesome! i just learned it on acoustic. the best.

  • Chill out people. We are redeemed. Sweet.

  • There is therefore now no condemnation, remember mercy triumphs over judgment. (James 2:13) we've been shown mercy, love, and the grace to make it day by day. Lets let our hearts be broken and tenderized and intercede for people. If someone is struggling on something pray and intercede that a stronghold is torn down, not the person and love em through it. We are all seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus He alone lifts up and puts down we have the honor of getting front row seats!

  • Praise God.. thant was exactly what I need to hear. God bless you this beautiful Palm Sunday.
