Toney's definitely an inspiration to all of us guys over 6 feet tall to train hard and pack on the mass. X Man is one of my favorites with Dennis Wolf. A move to the masters division maybe in his future in the next few years.
They've got that division at most pro shows including a Master's Mr. O. That's the only time they seperate the master's division from the prime guys. To the best of my knowledge there is no master's version of the arnold classic nor a master's class there
If you like Freeman, check out Ed Nunn if you haven't already, really similar physiques, though Nunn has a smaller waist and chest, he just turned pro in 2008.
Toney is the man, i saw him in person today at the UKBFF South Coast Qualifier in Portsmouth. He did this guest pose twice after the overall was announced and looked awesome at over 300lbs! He says he's gunna nail the olympia this year coming in at 290lbs and 2% body fat! Cant wait for it, big love to the X-MAN
no he wasn't...Kai deserved the win Toney looked flat at prejudging. He looked alot better here at the finals but Kai looked great in the morning and at night. I think you coulda made an arguement for Toney being top 3 though
That is true, due to the keto diet that toney freeman uses, he doesn't get quite as filled out until later in the evening, I'm sure this close to contest he was putting in more carbs than normal to try and fill out that frame, but with that kind of size and the type of diet his body is used to, it just took to long for it to fill out, i think he could of came in atleast 3rd if not 2nd if he came in like this at prejudging
