This video vastly oversimplifies the task of replacing the large keys. My Shift key on a Lenovo x61 laptop has FIVE interlocking parts that perhaps a jeweler could fit together on the base. Looks like a leggo on steroids. Never remove such keys!
I've spend HOURS trying to figure out how to reset a key that came off the keyboard. Thanks for showing the correct process...next time I won't have to have Lenovo send an entire keyboard when a key comes off.

My "Ctrl" key was messed up, and not my letter-keys, but I was able to tweak the basic principles of this video and.... IT WORKED! God bless.
