Yes and No. If you want to maintain the advantages of high-bit images then you'll need to save all the extra bits. Use a file format like TIFF or PSD. Keep in mind though, that ultimately you're monitor and printer are 8 bits per channel devices so there's no huge advantage of printing a 32 bit per channel image.

make sure your image is at 8 bit per channel thats how you get the jpeg, it worked for me.

Hi there,
You need to be working inside an 8 bit RGB image. You can adjust your colour mode and bit depth under the Image -> Mode menu.
