  • Hi viewers, thank you for your interest in this video. Just to inform all of you that VLC version 1.1.5 to 1.1.11 is able to extract audio directly via Youtube video stream. You don't have to download the video. It is easier as it uses its own built-in profile. You may have to UPDATE its 'youtube.lua' file. Pls search my video title 'Download Youtube directly into MP3 using VLC - Update'.

  • and how I extract the flv file from youtube??

  • @topaktarus

Pls view another of my video 'Download Youtube using VLC'. VLC versions 1.1.5 to 1.1.11 have problem with Youtube stream. Most of time you need to update 'youtube.lua' file. You can download the Lua file by clicking a link in Description. Once you have updated the Lua file, you can do wonderful things with Youtube stream.

  • Thanks ionlift your advice worked perfectly!

You may need to update VLC 'youtube.lua' file. You can visit the following site for more info. sites.google.com/site/urlonging/vlc-youtube-lua-file-update

  • Hey i have a vlc 1.0.5 question for you. i downloaded a movie but the audio is slightly out of sync, and i heard theres a way you can fix it within vlc....but i cant find it. message me if u can help out thanks

  • @JAMxSkalla16 In VLC, you can shift audio time by clicking 'Show Extended Settings' button right at the bottom. Select the Synchronization tab and you have a number of options to synchronize the audio with the video. However, your settings will not be saved. If you really want to save the piece, is easier to use Avidemux. In Avidemux, on the left panel there is this Shift Checkbox where you tick to shift your audio. To save just click File>Save

  • @ionlift well.. i have vlc for mac.. so everything you said doesnt apply to my player..

  • Thanks mate, works peferctly fine!!

  • @alvinleetya You are welcome.
