my first year of lax i have to admit i was the big hitter on my team mostly because i was playing short stick D and didn't really know how to play but last year I started using my D pole didn't get any big hits but i had so much more fun since im pretty sure i got the most ground balls out of all the defensemen. Lax is not a hitting sport its a finesse sport and is much more fun without big hits

Just curious, I don't know lacrosse well; after a hit like that, do teammates ever go after the guy who made the hit if its borderline illegal? For example, sometimes in hockey games, if someone makes a borderline illegal hit, you may see someone on the other team go after the guy, and they may fight. Sort of like saying "we're not gonna stand for that." Does that happen in lacrosse? I feel like if I was on the White team, I would have KO'd that guy after he put his hand up like that.
