Faith is an incredibly important thing, but if someone relies only on faith he/she will be used (like the churches used hardcore christians to gain wealth). But they're a part of Norden (The north) which of whom also we Danes, Swedes and Norweigians share history.
But in the Viking age, Nations weren't considered as countries like we know it today.
But culturally, Finland is a part of Scandinavia, not least geografically.
