Those who think communism (either in its purest form or oppressive state) is a good thing are people who can't seem to succeed in life. Most of these people seem to think that the government and its laws are too blame rather than figure out whats wrong with what you did or didn't do. So the idea of a government that takes care of its people seems more appealing than a government that seems to "piss" on the poor.

anyone who says fuck communism needs to understand what it really is. it is the utopian society that we as humans cannot grasp yet. we still believe in me me me rather than us us us. there has never been a true communism, at least to my knowledge. china is a disgrace. the soviet union was a fascism flying the flag of communism. they worked there workers to death. they focused on purely industrial needs rather than the happiness of it people.

ok, i try my best to distance myself from this kind of internet debate. still, i just want to mention that there are vast differences between the soviet "communism" that is being attacked in this song and collectivist movements that are (for the most part) non-violent. i think that zoli should have been more clear in making this distinction. i know a lot of self-described communists that reject the soviet union's fascist and imperialist agenda.

socialism and democracy have a whole lot in common, btw. our educational, prison, garbage, library and postal systems in the us are socialized and so are public roads. capitalism corrupts democracy. how about we purge the us of the unconstitutional laws that have been passed. the federal reserve act the patriot act and the federal income tax along with many others and start over how the forefathers wanted it. but our gov't is full of fascists so we could never do that.

The nazis abused it by declaring all aryan ppl equal, the communists abused it by declaring all ppl equally poor except the leaders. I never denied that the countries under soviet influence were ravaged by communism, but that's not socialism. They were taking a good concept and exploiting it for their own benefits. Just like they did anywhere else with any other good concept...

Leninism is Lenins interpretation of marxism. The same goes for stalinism. And I think that the practice (wars, oppresions, mass killings, mass deportations, purges, show trials, moral and economic decline) is more important than the theory. Communism sounds good in theory but the praxis is the same as in nazism of fascism.

the US is not fascist, there are democratic elections and a free market with freedom of religion, press, and right to assembly.
Mussolini's Italy was fascist, where all of these rights were subverted.
