funny thing about people nowadays. just because someone gives money to charity your suddenly a good person. and you see that everywhere, stars who give money to charity. they do it because theyve got TONS OF FUCKING MONEY. and yes, it might be for a good cause but i can promise you one thing, they also do it to look good.
i did say that some people do it DO good. i also said that some people do it because they want to look good. and in this case, it might be both, i dont know. i dont give money to charity (like ever) cause first of all, im poor, and second, im quite "tight-fisted" (sorry, im from sweden) so if i get any money, maybe from work or anything else, i usually keep it to myself. i tend to be more outgoing anywhere else though, so that people can see the real me.

Wow...I can't imagine having to come onto a talk show under those circumstances. You could tell how nervous she was about it. Good for her. Ashley seem really together and mature. It's impressive

okayy so it was a bad interview but i mean give her a break, she was 18 and even though she was brought up in front of cameras i'm sure she still gets nervous now and then. she gives better interviews now! plus the guy wasn't asking the most interesting questions i've ever heard of. i think she was being polite and i think she's classy and mature and beautiful.

Good point. Learning your sister has an eating disorder and having to talk about it must be hard, but she does it, as she does all things, with grace and dignity. I also like that she doesn't overdo talking about it, she makes it clear that it's mostly a private matter.

MK was in treatment for an eating disorder. That was in 2004. Now she's doing much better and is much healthier.

greeenluver05, I saw your homepage and you seem smart and interesting person. And Jesus taught us some good lessons...one of which is to be nice to each other. Ashley's doing her best, it may not be great, people may think she's say "you know" a lot, but she's doing her best. She's only human, and she too is one of God's little children.

Excellent point, MKAfan. What I like about your analysis is that it depends on what the target of the rumor is, namely Ashley Olsen. Unless we KNOW that she thinks it's o.k. to gossip about it, then of course it's wrong to gossip about it. That's irrefutable.
To argue otherwise is to be selfish. If that's what neveryoumind and matt argue, then they're being selfish, that's all.
Gossip is ALWAYS wrong. Sleazy too.

How many times does she say you know? In this interview, a lot. But in interviews after this, almost never. She actually set out to improve her speech, and succeeded.
