  • i've been doing real well with the handstand, but lately i've been having a real hard problem with kicking up my legs, i either fall short or i kick way to hard and just completely fall over. I can't find the right balance for the life of me, any ideas?

  • @xTheMansterx now i have another problem. I managed to do a handstand, but i become too scared when i am in the handstand position. So scared that i bend my arms and end up crashing my head on the floor :(

  • I cant do it cuase when i go on it my Legs are bended and when i try to unbend them i fall foward Got any tips?

  • Before I practice this, I used to do the wall handstand...then I started to try it without a support from a wall through this tutorial video ,and yes...at first I keep falling and falling 'till finally I can hold it for at least 3 seconds now, thx btw for showing us how to do it

  • One hint for you guys. Just keep practicing it. I don't suggest you to use wall. I started year ago and now I can hold it more than a minute and I'm able to do 8 handstand pushups and 3 tucked planche to handstand (3 in a row). Remember. Keep practicing and It'll come eventually. Never give up.

  • @dsagvdgr I started in 2008, took me a few months of consistently training it to obtain a repeatable 10-20 second hold

  • I really like the new arm hand stand workout, another workout to prepare for handstands i like to do are frog stands. i can't really explain it but you can find tutorials for it. good job on the video!

  • @2SidedDimension Im a 13 year old and i go to Acro (gymnastics) Every Sunday, I've been doing handstands since i started. You don't just get a handstand in a snap you need to know how to know how to hold ur body weight, that's why you should do push ups. Another thing, there are very small important steps while doing a handstand, so might as well learn those first. And yes you do need lost of practice to get them right. So dont go cursing off a person how you hurt yourself for your own mistakes

    so just to summerize when you have the feeling to fall down do you bend your waist then bend the elbows to recover ? or you just bend your elbows to recover?

  • @kamaks06 Don't give up. Have you learned how to roll out forward? I've been practicing for almost 2 months and i can hold a handstand for about 30 seconds. try to learn the roll out(to put one shoulder down). it helped me get over the fear of slamming down forward.

  • Don't bend your wrists like that. It's not good for them.

    But the wrists rolls are good for them.

  • whenever I do a handstand i can't hold it for long because whenever I breath out I begin to shake and flip foward so I can only hold my handstand as long as I can hold my breath which isn't long while doing a handstand. I can do a headstand and elbow stand all ready but I'm only ten what would you suggest?

  • @adiboo16 Practice going upside down against a wall and breathing normally, then attempt to do them freestanding whilst you keep breathing. It's a psychological thing.

  • curious, it seems like you rock back and then kick up into a hand stand, are you doing that, i will try that because I normally try to kick up but i dont go all the way up, but i will try that little rocking motion i see you doing
