I do that with my AK47 even. I am right handed though, I suck using the left, but I do it when I have to go around corners where it is easier for a left handed gunner to move around. It makes it hard to hold the gun while you do it, however, it gives you an advantage over somene that doesn't do it. Comes in handy when you get stuck in a small cornered area for about 15 minutes. (Words coming from experience, the area we play has a forest and a no-longer-in-use horse stable I got trapped in once)

@XDivineSouljax Actually, both paintball and airsoft are used to train the armed forced, paintball actually is used more though, of course it is modified ammunition and PTW style markers. Also paintball isnt meant to be realistic, cause its a sport, though it can be seeing as it also consists of scenario games that last for days. I like both, airsoft for realism, and paintball for fast paced fun, dont be hati one cause you like the other. They both have their strong points.

It was Operation Plague, a zombie game. So the gear was a bit unconventional (zombie hunters and such).

Yeah, goggles by themselves are kind of scary. A few guys on my team go without full face protection, and one got shot in the lip recently. The other was shot from 10 feet with a KJW MKI Carbine and ended up with an aneurysm that had to be operated on. Since then we've been moving towards a full head coverage rule. Even a shemagh or balaclava would have been enough in any of these cases.

In the Uk the limit is 328FPS.

Its only a legal requirement to wear eye protection and it comes down to personal choice weather you wear glasses, goggles or mask.

He's right. It's a personal choice. Because i play VERY VERY VERYYY close quaters combat, like in a maze combat, i wear a balaclava and heavy duty goggles. Always a chance that your tooth will get shoot out even with balaclava though, so i wear a mouthpeice too.

Most outdoor players where just goggles, most indoor players balaclva and goggles or fuil fask mask.
