Originally released in November 1951. Directed by Connie Rasinski; story by Tom Morrison; music by Philip A. Scheib (Jim Tyer is lead animator).. Dayton Allen provides all voices- he was also a very talented impressionist, and his best impersonations were Groucho, Jimmy Durante and Edward G. Robinson, which he used in Terrytoons from time to time.

They're Magpies because they're yellow billed and white torsoed, when seen in flight their feathers jut out. Crows and ravens are tottaly black.

Would "preternatural", "aberrant", "deviant", or "anomalous" suffice?

I'd have to guess Jeckle plays the female because he's better at it--or perhaps Heckle really stinks at it.
