@Banjokazooiemaster Open your Itunes and make sure your iphone is plugged in. Click on the magnifying glass in the top right hand corner of the screen, search for "preview," and open it. Once preview is open, there will an option that says import from ....'s Iphone. Click that. Select the files you want to transfer and have them transferred to your desktop. Hope that helps!

LOL you can simply right click on your iPhone drive and click 'Import Videos and Pictures'. (if you want all at one)

( If you have a password on you'r iphone, you will have to unlock the phone first, then connect it to the computer and PROBLEM SOLVD! Thank you for the information. For WindowXP I hooked up my Iphone4 with my computer and did the following: Explore-->Select Iphone from the left panel-->Edit-->Select ALL--> Copy--> Paste to desired lactation. All videos and photos got copied to my computer.

If you don't see the iPhone under Portable devices, it's because you may have a password on your iPhone. In that case do the following:

Step 1) Disconnect iPhone from the computer

Step 2) Unlock the iPhone by entering the Password

Step 3) Re-Connect the iPhone to the computer

This worked for me.

One simple but very useful tip you left out is that you have to have the motherfucking thing unlocked or nothing shows up in the DCIM folder. What an assbrained design. If it's plugged into the fucking PC let's assume I want them to communicate and not have to drive from the fucking phone. Thanks anyway for the vid man the rest of it was helpful once I got that little detail nailed down.

@ServusSonitus Update: I unplugged and replugged the USB cable from the iPhone (naturally, that stupid iTunes was relaunched) but this time I was able to see the iPhone device in My Computer and pull of the images and videos I needed from the phone. It was the obvious way to go. I just cannot explain why the portable device was not visible the first time around. I still hate Apple.
