I had those same horns ar my elementary school. THey did a coded blast pattern. LOUD! I used to be so scared of those, yet at the same time I kindof miss that sound. I also have that same pullstation in my collection, only mine ha a down arrow on the t handle. Awesome clip.
Like to see more of this type. My elementary school and middle school had these types of horns. VERY LOUD! My high school had the same type but were on a coded system and they on sounded in code for about 45 seconds, so it was not as bad. I also have a Simplex horn like this that is rigged to a telephone extension out in my fathers barn so hecould hear the phone while he was outside! Maybe I'll call my dad right now at 11:51pm and tick off the neighbors!
