@tarxantoo Thanks for watching and the response! I do feed Buddy all internal organs (as they are quite nutritious) on the kill. I also feed him the head. The goal is only one kill so after a successful chase he is always fed a full gorge. The rest of the rabbit is later eaten by myself or my family. Good luck with the permits and have fun!
sorry but i had to comment about some of the other comments "That's one beautiful Juvenile Red-tailed" tells me dosnt know much due to the fact its tail is red! dosnt happen at that stage for a number of years and as you said 6 (be 7 now?) and a she haha the size and the name gives it away, is he a social imprint?? or full asking due to the screaming
I am a follower of New Guinea people's feeding habits. I want to hunt human beings to eat them: unfortunately this is not legal, why? It is nature. So I watch Dexter and try to find a bit of consolation... I would like to hunt sportively, strong humans of course, not children - hunters are among my favourite prowls! best quality proteins, fresh blood...mmmm!
ooh I want to be a falconer! but the ONLY problem is, i hate blood and gore, but the idea of hunting in general facinates me...i wanna be able to kill quail and pheasant for food, but do u get used to the blood and guts?? lol
That's one beautiful Juvenile Red-tailed, reminds me of my Sponsor's Harris Hawk. So did you just catched him this summer, or did you had him for a while.
love it, I started cheering your bird on with each dive just like
i do with mine.

Falconry is an awesome way to hunt, but it's a package deal. Hunting and death and everything else that goes along with it is all a part of it.
