hey you can understand it for real you just have to split the parts look he´s playing a bunch of stuff that naturally are played in latin music if you get familiar whit each latin percusion instrument and their rhytyms youll understand it perfectly timbales congas bongos campanas cencerro guiro etc thats just some instruments for latincuban music there are so many for other styles try to find the roots of this music its is not hard to understand believe me!

In an effort to play as fast as they can, The drummer and conguero (deer in headlights) lose the groove several times. This is simply a dick-slinging contest. The conguero is clearly lost several times throughout the tune and el negro is oblivious to anything. this grooves NOT.

well looking at these virtuoso players drives a man to permanently put down his instrument and say nope, not in this lifetime will i ever get a groove sounding that tight and precise. all the instrumentalists are astounding, Horacio Hernandez looking so loose and relaxed yet watching him play makes one dizzy, yet always maitaining that steady clave with the right foot.
