  • NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL......The best kind of metal,,,in ROCK HISTORY...far away from the U.S. SHIT

  • To think, the drummer was on Take Me Out.

    HE EVEN GOT A DATE!

  • this song is too...choppy. slow. but the solo's sound nice and ethereal.

  • ahahahah I wasn' t expecting this...but It' s great :) LOL i was on Vader' s video...LOL

  • I think this is the best track of the album. great debut album from a great rock band.

  • Fuckin A love this music long live NWOBHM METAL FOREVER

  • @Zintendo, it doesnt need to be satanic haha

  • this music is for hipster metalheads that have metal shoved so far up their ass that they replace the other emotions/song linkeage to stuff like this..

this music isn't doing it right it is a disgrace to all that is heavy and satanic

  • @Zintendo Good, another judgemental and highly pretentious music expert on the internet who wastes his time and energy by telling other people that they are doing it wrong and what music they should/shouldn't listen to.

Enlighten us to the truth, wise one!

  • @MrPopescuTheSecond You see, Satan is a symbol of happiness. Doesn't sound right? Then you agree that the music is out of place. I'm glad you could see things my way, step out of your own ego dude.

  • @Zintendo look at the cover art stupid fuck, how can you say it isn't satanic? "omg they are not screaming must not be metal". Your are a pussy.

  • I want to marry this song.

  • Great song!!!!

  • :D LOL

  • Montalo had a lot of great riffs, look at this tone, one of the best guitar players from nwobhm

  • Wow... This is actually really good. Are there other songs by this band that are on par with this one? \m/

  • you know youtube is a great thing. all this unknown music would have gone forever unheard except for the esoteric who were lucky enough to stumble on their albums and purchase them.

  • I only like the first album the rest sounded like Bon Jovi

  • great music!!! how come they are not famous?

  • Are there any guitar tabs for this band? or am I going to have to make them...

  • @moko9hoko Underated metal is the best metal.

  • im probably going to get shot but what does NWOBHM?

  • @BigAlFTW NWOBHM = New Wave Of British Heavy Metal

NWOBHM Is a musical movement that started in 1978 and ended in 1982 and it is a very important turning point in the history of Heavy Metal because back then, (like now) metal was almost dieing but all these bands like Iron Maiden , Witchfinde and many more rose up and brought a whole new era of Metal.

  • @MrPopescuTheSecond I understand that, but im saying what does NWOBHM mean?

  • @BigAlFTW As I said before: N=New W=Wave O=Of B=British H=Heavy M=Metal

  • @MrPopescuTheSecond my bad i didnt read that

  • very similar to venom

  • Hey guys... This is the first time I've ever heard this band before... and wow is this awesome. Are there any other good songs that I need to know about? If there is, I would like to get those for my collection. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • This sounds so clear! I wonder why this track sounds so drowned out on my CD

  • funny cover: some drunken satan :-)

  • @joehohenester Hahaha! Drunken satan? Good one. :-)

  • Really enjoyable song - and interesting that Crazy Train came out in the same year. Just that I think that the vocal line bears a coincidental resemblance to this song (and vice versa). :)

  • ooooooh i get to know this band through james hetfield. naaaaaaaaah, i didnt talk to him. haha. i saw him doing an interview wearing witchfynde's tee! haha yeaaaah!!!

  • love it!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow blast from the past ! and a good one! love it

  • You know what I hate? I hate those guys who click on a Video named "Witchfynde - The Divine Victim" and click thumps down at the very same moment. As if they didn't know what they were clickin at. Those two guys can keep on listening to this modern mainstream crap, but hopefully they'll never be clickin on any NWOBHM-video again!!!!! Fuck them! this really makes me angry!!! Eternal HAILS to this great and underrated band!!!! Witchfynde forever!

  • @NitziSkullkrusher what does NWOBHM mean anyway?

Anyways, I' 18 yrs old, and I fucking love WITCHFYNDE and the Rest of the NWOBHM bands :D

  • another metallica infuence case ya dont know!%^

  • never heard of this band before, i ran into them by accident and now i'm hooked... fuck =)

  • What a weird band, mixing up horrible commercial attempts with sinister metal blasts(eg, Wake up Screaming). This is one of there better tunes.

  • awesome!!!!!!!!

  • amazing stuff. Can't believe I've never been exposed to this up till now. true gem, thanks!

  • I wish I could find the lyrics, it sounds like that most of them are quoting a Byron poem. "The Destruction of Sennacherib".

  • Someone enlighten me on what he sings after "Joan of Arc" if possible.

  • "Warrior queen".

  • Oh, sorry, I got that, I meant the second time.

  • You know what, it reminds me some kinda Steppenwolf (One of the creators of the Heavy Metal)

  • the genre NWOBH is very underated

  • @FuckMunar Not by me it isn't!

  • @whitbyjet65 Responding to 2 year old comments is very metal.

  • WITCH! bought the import l.p.long ago , my cd is worn now.....fuckin awesome band and one of a kind release.

  • Angel of Death spread his wings... how very metal.

  • NWOBHM is like the best metal can get and ive never heard bands like this before i always thought Iron Maiden and Saxon were the good metal bands, but ive gotta start to listen to these lesser known bands

  • WOW!!

  • Masterwork!!

  • Joan of Arc..Warrior Queen...WITCH!!

  • I just can't get enough of that filthy guitar tone!

  • THE BEST!

  • Stagefright & Give em hell are among my most treasured CD's - nice to see someone else out there remembers this GREAT band. Yes, I am a 48 old, stuck in the past nwobhm fan.

  • hell, I'm only 21 and I was turned on to this band by a friend who is only 18 (he's probably been listening to em for a few years). good tunes are good tunes :) - glad you like the upload \m/

  • @StayOuttaRiverdale Rock on! I'm 17 (AND I'm female, so take that, stereotypes, haha) and I've been listening to them for years- I taught myself about it when I got sick of the hip hop rap crap that I'm constantly being bombarded with in the media... Witchfynde and NWOBHM forever!

  • @BrokenSolitary Look for hip hop and rap "crap" outside the media then, you'll soon realize not all of it is crap. ;)

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow No all rap is crap. Nobody plays an instrument or sings just some dude talking with a computer. With a little practice anybody can do it and it requires minimal talent. No offense just my opinion but you're defending rap on a Witchfynde video .

  • I'm sure quite a few people would defend rap on a Witchfynde video, usually the more "underground" you go, to the point you're listening to Withcfynde, the less ignorant you become, and we leave the ignorance for Panterafags/mainstream metallers/people who don't know shit about music.

New-age rap is computer generated, yeah. But when it first started there were backing bands or sampling, which requires talent and thought. Listen to Ice-T, or early Beastie-Boys or Eazy-E/NWA, Run DMC, etc.

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow I've heard all those guys before and the only talent I see is the fact that they (unfortunately) invented a new genre of music. Rap pretty much gave birth to the era of someone having no musical ability but being able to be successful in the music industry which I find ironic. Sampling requires no musical talent. I don't care what other people listen to as long as I don't have to hear it and pretty much people think the music I listen to is crap but I don't care.

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow Pantera fags? Please Explain I know plently of underground metal but pantera are an amazing band and dimebag darrell was an extraordinary guitarist

  • @EddieVH666 I can't explain. There are people who just don't grow out of some shit, y'know? Guilty pleasures and such, like Poison or Cannibal Corpse. But I assure you, there's nothing amazing about Pantera and nothing extraordinary about Dimebag Darrell. They had like 2-3 listenable albums tops and there is really nothing remarkable about them. They were just another glamfag band while all the good metal subgenres were being formed and solidified.

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow nah man it sounds like youve only heard pantera's 80s stuff if you think there a glamfag band. listen to anything off cowboys from hell and onward that was some of the heaviest shit around back then. and dimes solos on songs like domination, cemetary gates, or psycho holiday are nothing short of amazing I play guitar trust me its not at all easy to do

  • @StayOuttaRiverdale im 17 and love the OLD NWOBHM!!! just classics. old metal will lessen but will never die!

  • @StayOuttaRiverdale I'm 38 and shit i'm glad you both love em and you share this with us (ME) all this is freakin awesome thanks again from me The Doctor Detroit Who Has A vast Verity in music but this has become my favorite really thanks to @StayOuttaRiverdale for an awesome gem rock on!

  • Doesnt surprise me man, I missed it first hand (only 30) but when I was introduced to heavy rock and metal as a kid, 86/87 or so it was nwobhm and classic metal/heavy rock (Sabbath/Priest/Motorhead/Purple etc, you know what I mean!) that did it most for me, and even though I enjoy a lot of modern metal, I dont think anything could top the classics for me!

  • @shenstone I'm 16, and I'm proud to say I love this stuff!

  • @shenstone i am 18 and just discovered this band.....

    .....and i love the music!

  • @shenstone I hope you're not a suit now :-(

  • @BlackAureole jeans and t-shirts till the day i die ;-)
