no following that size of the explosions we can deniliates what lvl it would be in our atmosphere, i believed they are testing this to simulate asteroid bombing which one of their ol Nasa scientist said has an Asteroid size large enough to decimate life on earth, that's y they are testing that. The earth is "plastic" because it has multiple layers of different types of rock and metals, thus the earth is able to with stand bombings because it can asorb shock.

What were you expecting, a huge chunk to get blown off? The moon may be small compared to Earth, but it's still really big. Imagine being in orbit and looking down to see an explosion in the United States. It would have to be a really big boom to see it from space. Likewise, it'd have top be a big boom to see an explosion on the moon from Earth.
It's all about scale and perspective. Don't take your astronomy lesions from Michael Bay...
