  • Darwinism never turned me on. Lack of spirit. We need something like Gaia theory to teach the children. Or at least as Dr.Cobb says we need "purpose" for the species.

    There is a gap between humans and other life-forms.

  • I disagree with you here, and I think the "gene-meme" co-evolutionary theory can account for the alleged problem.

    In this theory, social artifacts as well as genetics can replicate also, there is alot of literature on this subject that has been published recently. (see, Sue Blackmore - The Meme Machine)

    I do not think that these issues are at all metaphysical in nature.

    If your statement is just acombination of memes, I wouldn't expect them to be necessarily true, for they would just be randomly changing overtime.

    Memes exclude the possibility of conscious, purposefull choice, for they are just material events. Consciousness than, is just an epiphenomen...

    The meme theory denies that you are a conscious being with a free will to chose for truth.

    So I don't believe you.
