NIN and MM are pussies compared to these guys. This is a classic and its more brutal the most new bands. Too industialized for me though I prefer Electric Doom Synthesis era Beherit.
They spent lots of money to do this tour and never had one good recording of the whole show. Wow heroin definitely took priority above everything, and i think its funny he almost looks like MManson during some clips of this footage, not just the stilts but just his outfit and how he is walking around stage. Its as if MM studied his performance not just his creative ideas, but fuck if i had the money he had. I am sure any stage show i would do would be heavily influenced by Ogre as well.
*raises hand - That'd be me. Ok well I didn't actually stagedive ..honestly I dont remember anyone stagediving there, could be wrong though. I believe it was at the Agora in Cleveland Oh; Fuckin' awesome live show.
I used to go to thier shows and it was creepy but awesome he would sometimes come from the ceiling and look all mangled and freaky..great shows tho for sure. SP and Ministry r still my faves.
@420dAn I really doubt Bebber would have a "copy" of it and not the members, Bebber was an alcoolic back in the 90's when working on "Manson Family", he would have sold is mother for beers. How the hell did he got a copy of it? I am ah huge fan of underground horror movies and I never heard Bebber said anything like that on Deadbeat At Dawn DVD or any documentaries were he appears talking about Puppy for that matter.
@HumanLampshades watch the greater wrong of the right promo interviews on here were Ogre and Key "THEMSELVES" say that Van Bebber OWNS AND SHOT the footage. I spoke to Van Bebber myself about the footage and he told me he would not sell. You need to read into things a little more if you consider yourself a true Skinny Puppy fan.
@420dAn I don't consider myself a "true" puppy fan, I was one when I was 14-15, back in 1995 or something. I was heavely into underground horror movies, and was trading with people all over the world, including Van Bebber and various other B movies director, Van Bebber was working on Charlie's Family when Too Dark Park was shot, no way in hell he shot it! Besides that, why not making copies and why in the hell would Nivek don't own it?
@HumanLampshades check your inbox and watch the search "greater wrong of the right promo interview" watch and listen to the whole interview! I am also 28 years old and I am a true puppy fan!!!
@420dAn I learn of Skinny Puppy through the Deadbeat At Dawn DVD "spasmolytic" video was on here because Van Bebber directed it. Van Bebber mentionned Skinny many times, but never ever did he said anything about directing anything else than the video.
@420dAn Oh he "directed" the video collection, that is all, nothing is mentionned about him directing Too Dark Park nor did he ever mention it, he was a drunk ass, when did you spoke to him?
@HumanLampshades I tried to post a link to the interview on this but youtube will not allow it...search "greater wrong if the right promo" two part interview and listen to the WHOLE thing, then go and tell me i don't know what I am talking about.

Marilyn Manson stole the Chair of No Cares idea (but enhanced it and changed it a bit) and used it in his Astonishing Panorama of the Endtimes video.

Awesome thanks so much. I saw them on this your when I was way too young to be there! Great footage.

Still sickens me how Marilyn Manson ripped off the whole stilt thing, and all the MM fanboys acted like he started the whole stilt thing on stage.

Wow, this is the first good footage I've seen of the Too Dark Park tour, thanks for sharing. Is there any more footage of this good quality I wonder?
Khargull 2 years ago
Yep, Jim Van Bebber (the movie director) has it and refuses to sell a copy for no amount of money!
