Tomorrow it will be 1 year since Valentine flew off. I just hope that a loving family took him in cause just the thought of losing a bird like that, let alone to illness, just breaks my heart.

@homero152 I am so sorry! Birdies are so special. I had 4 tiels. One died of lymphoma in February. I have another one that is not doing too well right now.

Luckily my 20 year old Sam, and 4 year old Joker are strong.

Sorry for Valentine. My Snowy flew away today. and if you find her, if you live like near S.A Tx. post it on craigslist, I am bursting into tears. But I don't think anyone would find her though. Her brothers, and her sister are tweeting so loud!

I have lost a cockatiel. He came back though because he lives with my Macaw and they sing the same song. It was funny when my Macaw was singing and my lost cockatiel landed on my other arm and joined in. I started laughing and they both fell off of me lol.

I think my cousin found him already because there was a trained cockatiel on there lawn really it's true and now there keeping him as a pet

So sad--hope you find Valentine or that someone who finds him will take care of him and love him.

I used to have one that I named Boomer, because every time I would fly him from my finger, he would boomerang right back to me.

Yet one day, accidents happen, door opens and he flew away. I looked and looked for him to no avail. I can only hope he found a good home.
