I'm going to uni at the end of September. I'm really anxious about going because I'm OBSESSED with the subject - Creative Writing :P My mum and I did a test run on the bus yesterday so I can remember which stop to get off/on etc, but I think I might have forgotten already. *hopes my photographic memory will kick in* But luckily, I accidentally met a girl online a few weeks ago who's going to the same university on the same course! I am a college student too, thanks for your advice. I was wondering, how do you pay for tuition or how to financially manage? I have been in uni for 3 years and recently recovered from learning issues I wasn't aware I had (which put me back 2 years and a lot of confusion on choosing a field). What are you studying?

@YellowLittleDucky hey! In the UK we get student loans, so no one has to pay for university upfront (we repay the loan when we start earning) - and I'm studying journalism. I'm sorry to hear about your setbacks, I hope you're doing better now? xx

Mhm. Thanks for the advice! Do you fear not getting a job after graduation? I always have this impending feeling of doom, but it may simply be because I'm a a worry wort. My conclusion is that everyone's scared of the future to some degree or another, the trick is to keep your head up and continue chugging! Good luck to you, too!

@GurkhaSoulza I know its hard, because i have the same thing tomorrow. there like 90% girls. What i m gonna do is; know yourself, just know your weak points and strong points. Speak kind at the mirror:) Sounds cheezy but TRUST ME it will help! Then just be yourself, show your good sides and try to relax, its not that important, its just school. And always: Smileee!!!:D

I absolutely agree with what you've said here. I've just finished my first year of university too (creative writing ftw) and I think I would give the same kind of advice to people, especially the part about keeping in touch with old friends. My best friend is a year younger than me and I've had to leave her in my home town and go away to study and it's really hard for her I think, because I used to live right around the corner. Stellar advice. :)

When I was around 14/15, I was filmed for TV a couple of times and I think it made me just completely get over any camera fright that was in me! Since then I'm really comfortable being on camera so it doesn't really bother me :) My advice is to just get on camera - the worst that can happen is you take the video down :) good luck! x

I've had a lot of trouble with first days in the past, but last year when I started my Journalism course, I learnt that my tutor's daughter has the same disabilty as I do, so he was really supportive and explained to my group about my problems. My group turned out to be really nice and everyone are like my friends now. I'm actually looking forward to seeing them all again in September :D

Talking about the school. 2 years ago i started highschool and i was pretty nervous but happy at the same time. I didn't know what to do. I was and i still am more quiet than anyone but i don't know why because when i'm out to classes i'm funny and communicative. On the first day i was normal,i mean being myself at least that i thought. Lol. For my colleagues i was shy but that wasn't myself. It was kinda weird actually =).
