If iWorks is the only half serious program Apple has made and running it on an iPad is just a joke. Besides that it's lack of multi-tasking ruins it's use of iWorks. There would need to be a second computer to run other functions to use iWorks the way it's used. Also, full sized internet is entirely dependent on screen size--

Producing music professional is serious. iPad is not.

Is there any way to replace a laptop's monitor with one that could function as a graphics tablet? A Monitor that could, when open, rotate or slide down for use as a tablet?

I need a graphics tablet, and laptop. I still need to write, and I could care less for the touch-screen fad. The tablet would be for real graphic design, not just simple navigation. I can already do that.

I don't want a Modbook and have to bundle a keyboard+stand. That defeats the entire purpose of combining the two.
