Keisha leaving to bring in Jade is so not ok though, because she was the only original member and she MADE the Sugababes. They still looked and sounded like the Babes with Amelle in the band, but without Keisha they don't.
Mutya has such a unique voice, it is just wrong having Amelle singing it. I also feel like it should have NEVER been released as a single after she left, it was for her child, and that wasn't right.

You are partly right, However Mutya is not a full soprano, she is more a Contralto. Her lowest note is a C3. Amelle on the other hand is a Mezzo-soprano, who also sings comfortably in a contralto range and very often achieve C3 and D3. Mutya has a limited vocal range. Even as a solo artist, she is still a Contralto. Amelle is able to do a soprano lead and switch to an alto. Mutya usually stick to the lower register. Just listen to them separately and it would be clearer to you.
Mutya Buena can not be replaced. Amelle has the vocal range, but no expression. Amelle needs to express herself more, to blend in with the Sugababes sound.
