  • Very interesting video. Is any of this stuff still dangerous?

  • Hope you don't blow yourself up looking for this stuff- I don't think I would dare dig up a mine buried all these years- a fellow near Richmond Va blew up himself and his garage not too long ago with a Civil War artillery shell he found-

  • Thats when accidents happen. Their still in the woods where they where lost.

  • You have had great success with your relic hunting, and made an excellent video presentation,... Thank you!

  • was most of that stuff inert or live?

  • wow thats scary walking around a place littered with mines and mortars that could still detonate, however im sure my curiosity would lead me to digging up the place anyway.

  • great vid! hope you post more! love your hobby! looks like fun!

  • dude u should try to restore that v-1 to good a enough state to just put it together that would be cool

  • coolvid mayn!!! goodjob, good find.

  • wow, nice, u almost found a complete V-1 bomb, good video

  • w Polsce już by siedzieli w więzieniu ;]

  • im guessing there was a v1 there?

  • Excellent camouflage from 4:16 to 4:25! The face seems to blend into the scenery. Great video. It was a little scary seeing the unused ammo. Personally, I try to avoid artifacts that could potentially blow off a limb, but you seem to be adept at it. Good job, buddy.

  • 0:29 what is that at the bottom of the screen? You cleaned it damm good!

  • @bordkrijt

  • @bordkrijt that my friend, is called a cellular telaphone.

  • wow! this is so cool! Now I wanna find stuff! :)

  • i dont know , isnt it a STG or, mp 44 gun magazin? and not a bren? bren is bigger,

  • Hallo joost,

  • @TVAExtreme

I want a panzer in my front yard!

  • do u live in brittain and will u sell anything you find ??

  • @matty140397 thanks for your comment.

I from Holland and my items are not for sale. When i sell the items most of the story will disappear. Butt their allot of good stuff to be found in britain to. So good luck.

  • Wish I had a metal detector to check my garden.

  • so u walked around and found all tht stuff... dude my house is 200 years old and i didnt find notin

  • How The Hell Did You Dig The engine up that thing is realy big! Great Find.

  • @sirdilly2091

You call a few friends and just start digging :-D..Then you need to get the engine to the nearest road and load in on a trailer wagon.

  • COOL VIDEO? WAHT IS THIS SONG?????

  • @maier70 It's something like, Partied Out. You'll find it on the soundtrack to the 1st Matrix film.

    Bedankt!

  • I want a V1 jet engine in my front yard ....

  • The V1 parts are very cool. How is it they got separated from the warhead?

  • Well all the parts are from V-1 crashsites. There was a design failure in the left wing and when the weather was not right it whent straight to the ground. There was also a problem with the pulse engine that was stalling althe time just after the launch.

  • @tommezzzz do you ever sell any of your v1 rocket relics ?? jeremy ps; great video

  • @tommezzzz TANK YOU

    :)

  • Wow! Awesome video!!!!!!!!! I'd LOVE to come dig with you sometime!!!!!! I use Whites MXT

  • super :-)

  • where in holland did you look? i live in the hague and also search but cant seem to find good places in holland,so where did u look? some advice on where in holland to look please?

  • hello, you sell?

  • wow ... great finds !

  • hey tomez, aren t those mines very dangerous? like the mine at 3:23? how do you dig them up so they don t explode?i presume you can t use the shovel, cause if you hit it,it may result an explosion,or is it harmless do to it s age?

  • Well its a tellermine Ub. and Ub stands for exercise. It was filled with something that will make smoke when you drive over it. I never found a live mine.

  • Fantastic founds...

Here in Italy almost all has been discovered, but there...

    My congratulations

  • Tesoro metal detector is the best for coins and jewellery but for military I prefer PI metal detector for example c.scope etc

  • @majorek555 I have C-Scope :D

  • Can you tell me how do you find these things? Ok on a battlefield but how do you now that there are things in the ground? Metaldetector ?

    Can you answer?

    Thank you

  • heey mooi man,

    ik had een paar vragen.

    1# waar in holland?

2# wat voor een metaaldetecotr gebruik je?

    mvg. loek willems

  • waar in nederland?

    gr loek

  • song title is -Rob Dougan -Clubbed to death

  • what it song??

  • Song?

  • The 2 guys are looking through the field, having found bags of stuff each. Suddenly the first guy waves his arms.

    "Mine!!!"

The second guy protests. "No it's MINE".

The first guy shakes his head. "No I mean I just walked on a fucking mine".

  • Pretty amazing finds out there. I'm jealous :)

  • Just think how advanced we'd be (as a species) if we didn't spend all this time and energy on killing each other.

  • @SuperSwampfoot You're wrong. The first and second world war actually did speed up a lot of findings now used peacefull in everyday life. Radar, jet engines, medicines, clothing, weather forecasting, a lot of enginering tacticts too (for example bridge building) and many more

  • nice vid

  • First off your lucky as hell to go out and find this stuff and second might be a stupid question but when you find the grenades and mines how are you sure they cant like idk explode when you pick em up. do you call eod?

  • That is my dream, to find relics from past wars, i just love to think who was in this plane, what happened, why they died, and what they were doing

  • might be dumb question but are those tellermine's still dangerous/active?

  • Did you find the body of the V-1 flying bomb? you found most of the stuff but the other wing and the body.

  • @tommezzzz

ahhhhhhhh now i have understand, the fuze is a airbomb detonator right?

  • @tommezzzz

i have 1 fuze,AZ 23,I NEED TO KNOW IF THIS IS EXPLOSIVE

  • there are many types of AZ23 butt if i were you, i would throw it away. every fuze whas at somepoint explosive. And if you want to build a ww2 collection your better of collecting other things than fuzes.

  • @toskhi YES IT IS.

  • @tommezzzz

    but is a mortar bomb?

  • I'm not understanding your questions. You want to know something about a fuze. Butt witch one? The one in the 2"?

  • @toskhi yes a mortar is basically a grenade with the capability to travel large distances by use of explosives

  • @tommezzzz :

hey tomez, what is the fuze?

  • Witch one? 3:15 0:51 1:01

  • I guess I sound uneducated by asking, some of the things looked like they hadn't exploded!, and yet they seemed pretty well rusty how would they have been defused?

  • Monte Casino is the town of my fathers side. Well not there itself but a village in Casino. My great grandparents had there house taken by Germans but refused to leave. So they let them stay. Still bullet holes in the walls to this day. I had the chance to go there and all over Italy. If I get the chance not only will I look for stuff at Monte Cassino, but Ortona and Sicily also.

  • Thats is a place with allot of history.. I hope you will find what you looking for over there.

  • i am wonting to go to places like this could i send thing back to US well not like morter rounds

  • what type of metal detector do you use? I'm going back to South Korea in Feb and want to hit up some of the battle fields there.

  • well i'm using 2 tesoro's deleon.. But i'm not so pleased about it.. A minelab is a good detector and even better than the tesoro and they are cheaper..

  • Exremely Interessant. Are the finds recorded and mapped in any way and it must be difficult to identify finds sometimes. Are there many reference sources for the more technical finds? Danke. Great Vid

  • All of my finds are mapped some better then others.. That depends on, how rare something is.. And their are allot of books about ww2 equipment so that is usualy not the problem.. The problem starts when you find stuff like the V-1 or V-2.. Their where highly secret so their are not many drawings or descriptions about these sort of things.. Then you need to compare your finds with museum items..

  • Thanks tz. It must be quite eerie sometime at these sites, knowing what happened in these places not so long ago and handling the artefacts. Fascinating archaeology and Great work. Thanks and Good luck

  • I think you dig near Hengelo?

I dig too and there are always good things ;-D

  • No, not even close :-)

  • your not going to give away the place of findings are you?

    i understand why

  • what states are you allowed to dig war relics and take them home i know poland is one what else, can you dig at starlingrad? if not where else?

  • is that a ''apollo'' toothbrush? i also found one at a camp site from ww2 and it looks excectly the same.

  • No its a Monarch toothbrush.. Can i ask wher you foundthe toothbrush?

  • @tommezzzz i found it at arnhem.

  • The V1 stuff was absolutely outstanding ! Was it a launch site you were digging ?

  • what kind of ammo is the second one on the left side at 1:03 ?

  • The upper row are all .303 britisch.. But the first 4 are broken..

the lower row is a piece of a piat and 5x 9mm..

  • Fascinating stuff, escpecially the v-1 parts, I bet you can rebuild a whole V-1 by now:)

But I wouldnt like finding the grenade and mortar shit and stuff like that, too dangerous. I wouldnt like to get burned alive or pierced by hundreds of tiny pellets when one of those things explode. I have to say that im thankful that YOU dig that shit up and not me, so I can enjoy this cool vid:) Anyway, I like finding the older stuff better, but opinions differ.

  • : P

  • holy shit dude, dont drop the grenades!!! lol

  • amazing finds. I would love to go on a dig like that/in that area. nice video 5 *

  • The damnbuster bombs were barrel shaped not ball shaped.

  • nice finds

  • top! die V1 onderdelen

  • absolutely fascinating, good work!

  • It is so cool to see actual tools of war...

man fighting for what he believes is write.

    on and on

  • Indeed, butt the dambuster bomb looks like a soda can and not a ball..

  • plaese tel me wre are you found these relics in holland.send me back plaese.

(joeryproductions)I want bay a detector but i don't now were i looking in hollland.

    thank you
