At 0:12 - 0:14 you can see a car passing by, the driver is on the left side of the car. Since the guy who ran out of the vehicle ran out from the right side, we can assume that it wasn't the passenger. The passenger looked worried, so something weird was going on, maybe he was getting robbed or kidnapped by the driver. It looks to me like the passenger stomped the driver on the face, making him lose control of the vehicle and almost hitting the pedestrian. I don't know.. just guessing! :)
