@amtrak3501 I doubt it would hurt the blower too much if it's 3 phase, but if it's single phase, it could overheat from all the restarts due to the capacitors engaging so many times.
The rotator and blower stop at the same time because they're both wired to the same agastat time delay, which is wired to the RCM, and the agastat and RCM would be the first places I would check for funky wiring.
@LouisvilleTorn8o It's still not good to jog a motor that much, regardless if it's single or three phase. It causes excess heat from continuously trying to start that heavy load repeatedly, which is what kills motors more than anything else.
@mohkfry well you guessed right. the 1000 still has no belts, but the compressor motor was buzzing so it still works. i hear Ron is no longer working at the museum
Excellent video. I'm very shocked that this Thunderbolt hasn't been fixed yet. Oh, well. I may get my point of view of this siren sometime in the future.
They need to put some kind of bracing up, too. It wobbles a lot just on the standpipe.

Sounds like a funky wiring job on that Attack signal...The blower turns off and on instead of the chopper...Should be pretty easy to fix.

@LouisvilleTorn8o weird how the rotation as well turns on and off. could the blower get damaged by turning on and off that many times?
