  • Jeeze in the Beginning FAST TOUNGE!

  • i got one of these guys in my planted fish tank

  • 1:47 Great video, but I have a soft spot for solpugids. That kinda hurt.

  • @ghrankenstein did you see a solpugid in this video? I think you might mean the hacklegill mayfly nymph, Eddy.

  • @memutic I've looked at it repeatedly. at 1:47 it looks all the world like a solpugid, but I'm thinking it could also be a termite soldier. It was definitely NOT the combative hexagenia.

  • @ghrankenstein That one? Sure enough, a termite.

  • @memutic yeah, defs a termite

  • thing at 2:00 was a mayfly nymph

  • 0:01

    OH HAY ! :D

  • HURRAY FOR DRAGONFLIES!!!!!

  • What the hell is the insect at 2:00? Another type of Dragonfly Nymph?

  • @strictlyformyninja

It's a Mayfly nymph. The user who uploaded this has a separate video titled "Hacklegill Mayfly Nymph", if you would like to see more footage.

  • @raeurilium Awesome! Thanks, I will have to research this Mayfly Nymph more. I have never seen one like that before.

  • baby shrimps?! lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • DIE MOSQUITOES DIE

  • what is that thing at the end, it looks pretty mean.

  • Appreciate your vid and detailed feeding behavior. While Odonate adults have been popular for longer, the nymphs hold greater facination for some of us; so much easier to study and observe. Tks.

  • woah what's that at 1:56!?

    baby scorpion?

  • so these things end up as the best insects ever? dragonflies?

  • on the last part, I love the yellow one spirit. First he was almost eaten then he was like " you wanna eat me bitch?" and came back and fight too bad he lost :(

  • amazing!!!!!!!!!

  • I feed my fish with these

  • and what do i feed it?

  • where can i get one of these as a pet?

  • in your nearest swamp XD

  • call me a bug nerd but the last part had me on the edge of my seat! lol

  • erm..i got a question today i found a black dragonfly nymph is it dangerouse for the baby shrimps? If its not.. i will let it be...it looks so cute with that two big eyes!

  • Depends on what kind of dragonfly, but probably it will try to eat your baby shrimps.

  • @DemonDrug95 i found a nymph that looks like a dragonfly nymph in my fish tank today. it has devastated my Red cherry shrimp and yamato shrimp population in the last few weeks. got rid of this thing as soon as i found it.

  • These are amazing.

  • id on the music please?

  • lol u killeded ure mayfly nymph XD

  • Sharp lil critter!!

  • What is the creature at 2:12 the part where they fight? I'd really like to know what that thing is!

  • Memutic's next linked video shows its a mayfly nymph. Funny how a little badass like that can turn into something as fragile and transitory as a mayfly.

  • me too.

  • @thewellgoodshow Thet is larvae of Ephemeroptra (Mayfly).

  • Beautiful eyes on those insects.

  • i want one lol

  • lol, @ 2:02 comes back trying to start a fight, then at 2:11: "This is what you get! This is what you get."

  • Wow! Can we get some of that feeding action slowed down several times? I'd love to see that jaw work.
