I was there about 6 weeks ago and saw rocks on the road then. Thats such a nice ride twisting to the bottom of the canyon. Did you go on Generals Highway out of sequoia national park? Deals Gap and General highway are probably the best 2 motorcycle roads in the country, at least the best 2 roads I have ever been on.
I agree that these are 2 of the best motorcycle roads. I like the road to Kings Canyon better than Generals highway because you can take it at a higher speed (i.e. fast sweeping turns rather than tight switchbacks)
If i remember right there arent any in the park it self but if you go out side the park a little ways there ar some and for Kings Canyon theres only one road and thats hwy 180 as for sequia(not sure how to spell it) there are a few.
Kings Canyon a little under 2hrs out side of Fresno California oh and when you go there you will know why its called Kings Canyon
me and my bf went there on his harley from torrance, it was the most amazing experience of my life!

Thankyou for the memories!
That rock must have been a jarring experience.
The only things that marred that one were the door slammer and that rock. Other than that, a perfect ride!
