  • @snw0408 this isnt my main desktop. my main desktop is much cooler, wireless keyboard and mouse. headset 4core PC HD monitor. its a lot better than 8bit processor 5 1/4 inch floppys and an old half broken TV

  • @Shiqna1 That's right. That's how I knew my 128D had an 8580 (now has dual 8580s).

  • That's the more common 64C with the 8580 SID chip.

  • @CountryBoy4ever yeah. i have the original c64 as well and quite a few other commodore systems, 2 a500's  and an Aimga CD32

  • @greyhoundgill I have a CD32, those things are sweet. I also have an SX-64 running dual 6581 SIDs.

  • @Destointment point is this is a 5inch drive which was probably the most popular drive type when this was made since not many people could afford the 3inch ones and not much software was made for them, although commodore did make a 3inch drive for the 64 though

  • @spacecarb well...its a floppy drive and its playing music from its disk spinner motor. much quiter than the stepper motor music so do your homework before making a comment and this drive was built in 1985 so its quieter that the 3 and a half inch ones that will break the drive when music plays

  • @patachu666 I confirm - this is C64C, I used to have one, with tape recorder, I couldn't afford floppy :-)
