can someone tell me how to slip the clutch, cause if u let the clutch off quick in high revs and front goes up ur going to grip the cluth again for grip so u dont fall off d back???:/ thx
No,i've done a 155 before (and longer wheelies are usually slower due to the hight),the landing can shock the camera off though so its hard to get good footage :-(
@Godzuki6r1 Good wheelie! Can you help me? I do these speeds myself on my standard K1 1000 but I get serious wobbles, and I've been told by very good authority (Elvington 1km Speed Wheelie World Record organizer) it's because I'm taking it too high. I expect you've experienced wobbles too? Is it just a case of easing off the throttle before the front end gets too light? Are you on a constant throttle between shifting, or do you make small adjustments at a certain height? Thanks, Simon.
@1simonmatthews Hi! Hight could be the problem,i'd be looking at the rear tyre profile, pressure & alignment 1st.Yr seating position has an effect too with the balance point (sitting back lowers it) so does leaning forward & small changes make a big difference.Got a pic?,are you leaning back with straight arms or forward with bent arms?I constantly change/blip the throttle to control hight & just normal clutchless shift,if it starts to get too high,i lean further forward till it lowers a bit
@Godzuki6r1 Thanks. I'd say I'm leaning forward with bent arms if anything. I sometimes notice that the wobbles start when I abruptly chop the throttle and open it again when the wheel gets a little high. It's like the jerky movement of my arm, which can often be coupled with a jerky shift in body position, that tends to start the wobbles. And wind seems to be a factor too. This is at extreme high speed though. I'm hitting well over 140 now, regularly. Jamming gears is my new problem now :(
awesome a k6 750 gonna be my next bike for sure.
