I just didn't catch 2 things:

1. Is there a way to create your marker then show to the program and the model appears in that marker, that we create?

2. Finally, how we change the teapot by, for example, a coin? Something that we create?

@LUKEPENRY ARToolkit using an format *.pat wich describes inner content of pattern. You need to create your own with any available tool, from artoolkit itself or with this online one: flash.tarotaro.org/blog/2008/1­2/14/artoolkit-marker-generato­r-online-released/

Then find, where is original pattern in your application and just replace it.

Sorry, but I can not do an perfectly detailed explanation, because I create this tut, one year ago, and forgot most of details.

1. Downloa the folders

2. Open the folders and open the xcode file

3. Build the package/whatever its called

4. Go back into the folders and there should be a new folder called build

5. click build and then click debug (first option)

6. there should be a .plugin file here. copy the file

7. Paste the file in Macintosh harddrive-->System-->Library--­>Graphics-->Quartz Composter Patches AND Quartz Composter Plugins

8. Restart Quartz Coposer and your patches should be there :)

Trick learned some 10 years ago - stick your marker to something like a small turntable (old record player, a laboratory one) - ideally a bit off center so - and place the camera on a tripod at a weird angle. That gives you a very nice reproducable test setup - which greatly enhances the turning. Dw / dirkx at apache punto org.

@MajidNeutron there is no quartz (application from video) for windows, but windows has a similar "graphical languages" (like max/msp) . So, if you want do the same things the same way, you need to port the ARToolkit libraries under chosen graphical language. But it is not so easy, you need a lot of coding skills

Most simple way it is to do download and compile standart demos from ARToolkit.
