I'll bet very few people know that the tire cover in rear was called a "Coon-kit." It's racist, obviously, as apparently only blacks got the modification. Boy, did we look fucking stupid then. They took better care of their cars than we did.

Always my favorite car! BTW did you know that this is not a Lincoln.? It is a common mistake. "Continental" was a seperate division in the Ford family at the time this car was built, as was Lincoln.
