Beat the game so here's how you do it:

1) Get 50 star bits. (I think, I haven't played the game since Jan.)

2) Go to the big planetoid with the Hungry (Pink) Luma on it.

3) Talk to him.

4) FEED HIM THE STAR BITS.

5) He'll eat the star bits LIKE THE LITTLE PIGGY HE IS!!!one!1!! :D

They had Cameos of MANY Charecters in Galaxy.

Maybe ONE of the reasons Yoshi never showed was due to the fact that Luigi,was never in Super Mario Sunshine watsoever,but Yoshi played a big role(as Luigi,had no mention!)
