Excellent demonstration! Finally someone using his brain and not talking through 75% of the video. Great you covered all settings and pedal order. Thanks!
Thanks for this demo it is hard to find any decent 8va pedal demos run properly using dist to fatten them up. I am pretty impressed w the POG and poly track makes these units exceptional. Any experienced pedal user or tech will explain to you that trigger pedals that track notes need to be before any dirt, just 101 for effects. You can do anything you want but mud is mud, maybe you want mud, musical maturity tends to evolve. Satriani uses POGs up front and he sort of knows tone.
@CarvinTone I am an experienced pedal user, and I would say place the pedals in an order that works best for the sound you want. Use your ears! Sometimes unorthodox pedal arrangements can result in discovering new sounds. And yes, most people seem to run octave/tracking pedals first in the chain, before any gain pedals. Same thing with phasers, but I actually prefer phasers after delay to get a really neat sweep echo effect.
pog after distortion sound like 2 distortions, distortion after pog sounds like one, depends what kinda sound you want but i prefer distortion after pog

Yeah I prefer any dirt pedals after modulation and pitch effects.
Instrument -> (Compression -> Pitch -> Synth -> Modulation) -> DIRT -> (Delay -> Reverb)

I think these combination would make me be able to play "Seven nation army " by The White Stripes on bass.
How about you?
If we have two dist,and make combination..for instance Bass -Dist -Micro Pog -Dist-amp,we could get more colorful sounds ..

@kurenai35 fun fact
Seven Nation Army is actually played on a guitar through a whammy pedal going 2 octaves down

I always use my Micro POG first in the chain right after my Tuner. So to me it goes Octaver into Dist
