Besides all the positive reviews, I was a bit disappointed when I played this game. When I first got in, i realized how happy, colorful, and childish everything was! Really, this game lacks a sense of urgency. The soundtrack is repetitive and annoying, which sucks cause the soundtrack is one of the best factors in a true zelda game. I actually like the look of this game. The best memories I have of games is from playstation and 64. They're taking a different approach unlike every other game that strives for "better" graphics. It's a hit or miss method. They have my vote :3

Ocarina had a great story, great settings, and most of all it was a long game and filled with challenges, side missions, dungeons, weapons, etc. Most Zelda games since have been just trying to build on the success of OoT, since they all use the same format, music, etc (there's ALWAYS a song system since OoT). I loved Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, but they were too short. OoT will always be the classic til they come up with a new, original format
