Sean is a Sheffield Lad like myself. He was brought up, just a few miles away. he, apparantly, whent to, Rotherham college, To do a welding course, but, changed to Drama. we were neighbours, for a short time, but, he was always filmimg, He is a huge, Sheffield United fan. and, never forgets his roots, or friends. To see him opposite, Harrrison Ford, in, a Hollywood blockbuster, is amazing,. I think he's incredably good in this film. He's a incredable, down to earth guy. Thanks for posting. LOL

Sean Bean was filming the fight with Harrison Ford on the speed boat when Ford struck him with a boat hook and gave him a nasty cut which resulted in a scar. Bean was filming Lady Chatterly's Lover for the BBC at the time so it created problems for the production.

When he continued with the Sharpe TV the scar gave his character more credibility.
