If you are concerned about safety and keeping a pacifier accessible for the child try out BinkiBear. The teddy bear is a standard sized little lovie teddy bear but it securely attaches the pacifier to the arm of the bear so that the baby can hug the bear ad use any pacifier he or she already likes. It loops on and off easily for washing, replacing, and most importantly weaning! Once the pacifier is gone, they still have their bear that they are used to having with it.
i kept & used a pacifier up until i was around 12 years old, then through my teens, as a raver thing.. its still something that will sooth anybody who has anxiety.. like gum, it keeps you occupied. Im 20 HA. It should be up to the kid.
I still Suck My Pacifier/Binky when I go to sleep and It also when i play as a Adult baby. I only suck it at bedtime. I'm sucking on it now and i'm going to go get a new one tomorrow. I Like the MAM Pacifiers/Binkys the Best. Please don't make fun of me.
i like this video both my girls were binky babies my oldest had hers at bed/nap time until she was 3 she gave it up on her own my 2yr old still has hers so many people think there horrible and should be taken away before there 1 i say if it comforts them why take it away when there not old enough to understand why
Dummies look so dim[and as a baby I loved my dummy after mum died...so dad said] My own son never had a dummy [pacifier] and used his thumb..and a thumb is always there, [hopefully!] and does not have the same ..er.... look as a dim dummy!
I stopped pacifying when I was 5 because my mom thought it wasn't right for me to have it still. So she said "if you put your nukkies under your pillow the pacifier fairy will come.XD I totally believed her
thank you this video really helped , my 17 month old , i recently weened her off the bottle and she hasn't been sleeping very well nothing seems to comfort her takes about 2-3 hours to get her to sleep and she ends up crying ferself to sleep which is heart breaking for me i want her to feel comforted and really feel that giving her a pasifier at nap and bed time will help thankyou!!
umm of course a dentist would say that, bc it brings them money in when all these kids need braces. i really dont agree with this at all. i kid who is constantly comforted by an object then to get the right amount of comfort from the parent...it just seems wrong :(
