dude how funny... I bought a 79 ford fairmont at a tow auction for $90, and did the EXACT SAME THING!!! Including the fan into the radiator on a big ass jump like this...oh and the power steering pulley cut into the trans cooler line. the core supports must be weak on them...but good for you, glad theres someone else out there lol. Yeah that car took a beating, ended up doin the demo derby in it. I will put a vid up soon on the only cool footage I have of it

that is awesome! reminds me of my fist car, a 78 ford fairmont that spent more time in the air than it did on the ground. what a great car, i put a piece of rebar through the radiator and ran it for three days without fixing it, boiled all the oil out and everything, when i fixed it it ran even better!

but considering that it was my car and i was the one driving, i can tell you what actually happened is that the front end hit so hard it bent the cross beam and pushed the radiator into the fan which sliced a hole in the radiator and seized the fan. get it? THAT is what the squeaky noise was!  do you still know EVERYTHING or are you capable of learning?

Your a mechanic? You should know that if the radiator is has seized the fan pully, that will cause the belt to slip, therefor making the belt squeak.

Some one asked me why is the belt making all that noise. Well a FAN BELT turns the FAN. In the desciption he said that the RADIATORT was shoved into the fan. I think that would cause the fan not to turn. but the engine is still running. HEY WE GOT A SQUEALING BELT. SO YOU SHUT UP AND DO YOUR RESEARCH YOU DUMB FUCK. DON'T YOU THINK IF A FAN WAS STUCK IN A RADIATOR WOULD MAKE THE FAN PULLY SEIZE. Therefor make a belt squeal.
