it's really amazing how a simple gesture like a hug could make someone open their heart to you, i have a friend who hated me at one point. i gave her a hug and asked her what was wrong, even after she slapped me and called me a creep. But after that one little question she hugged me, cried and poured out her heart about how abusive her parents were and how she felt like she couldn't do anything. I told her she was perfect the way she was and her parents were stupid. Now she's my best friend.
