Present day politicians like Vasantdada Patil's descendents, Jayant Patil , Kore have all benefitted from the cooperative movement. I dont mean to say that these politicians are all corrupt as I have no proof to prove that. However, I have seen the benefits to average farmers in western maharashtra due to co-op movement.
