This song reminds me of my boyhood. Waheed Murad was my iconic figure, he was more favaourate to me than many then Idian actors. In the movies, he was romantic, intelligent and gentle -- who do not want such model character? He was a very bright star of the Pakistani film industry. His demise from this world is a great loss, no one can replace his position. He is alive in our hearts.

This was my dad's movie and at that time although the songs were a hit but the movie was a big flop. And yes..it's "Naseeb Apna Apna".

Salgirah, also staring Waheed and gorgeous Shamim Aara was my dad's first movie and a huge success also had awesome songs. All this was before I was born but I grew up with the songs and love them.

He was the distributor of the movie. Basically he bought all the rights of the movie. The company was called Melody Makers. In those days movie was bought before it's completion. I remember going to see shootings of a couple of movies. All these actors and producers were friends of my dad. I was too young but can recall a little. Sometimes the distributor financed the tail end of the production.

Those guy had talent and passion and they made this marvellous melody along-with other so many. Now these young who try to speak wrong English specially in their interviews rather their movements/ADAIEE-N may so too artificials to bear. Atleast I shall not call them movie actor(s).
