this is like....my ideal high school marching band show. i was a freshman at westview in 2006...and it made me think so much "whyyyyy didn't i choose to go to MC?" cause WV was stuck with Harold and the Purple Crayon...and MC did BADASSNESS. :P at least westview got better

should've focused less time on drill and more on the musical execution... Woodwind were great, but the brass had a few problems... Soloist at the beginning had a slight problem, but he overcame it... but very good for a high school marching band, 2 kuddos for you guys... the ending was great... loved the long chords at the end with the color guard acting out what I was almost feeling... overall a 89.87... would've been a 96.97 withouth the brass faltering...

Shoot, this has an outstanding visual component with that clean drill, but I have to agree that the music just needed some cleaning up to make it absolutely golden. What baffles me is that this band is huge but the percussion section is so small comparatively in both battery and pit. (usually, percussion section size is proportional to total band size)

As a MC alum, I'm a little disappointed in the comments I've read here from the current class. When you come online and say who you are, you represent the whole. Keep that in mind.

Also: you practice only to better yourself. Not to "beat RB" or get the highest scores. If by season's end you're not practicing and performing at the highest possible level, then you haven't accomplished anything. When you mess around you're basically disrespecting yourself.
